The idea of being able to leave the city and travel to a more peaceful place, where it is possible to be in nature, reconnect with its natural essence and replenish energy always seems perfect. Today the global beer brand Corona makes this concept a reality through Corona Paradise, its new booking and accommodation platform.
The objective is to create an even stronger connection with the consumer through technology, offering travelers access to an exclusive selection of 150 hotels and inns in natural paradises located in more than 28 destinations in Brazil, which can be visited when the public feel safer. Corona Paradise is now live – and our country is the first to offer this service as a global pilot for the brand.
“Corona Paradise is the perfect evolution for our history: we are a 100% Natural beer and now we are able to offer a bridge to the lifestyle we have become known for, creating special experiences for our audience and proving once again that Corona it’s more than a beer – it’s a way of life”, says João Pedro Zattar, head marketing campaign for Corona in Brazil.
The platform also offers visibility to establishments from high quality images and information about their services and accommodations, the selection includes establishments that stand out for their sustainability practices, high quality standards and proximity to nature for a true immersion experience. “We usually have few opportunities to travel during the year and we look forward to moments of disconnection from the hectic routine – escaping to a place in the middle of nature, with loved ones and creating our best memories. Corona Paradise is here to help make planning these experiences as smooth and simple as possible”, completes Zattar.
Corona Paradise is not the first tourism-related project led by the AB Inbev brand. In 2020, Corona created “Redescubra O Paraíso”, a global program designed to support the tourism sector in Brazil, raising R$ 2 million in financial support. In 2021, Corona also released “Anywhere Office”, a report based on research by Box1824 highlighting the increase in telecommuting, especially in locations closer to nature, as people struggled to find a better quality of life on a day-to-day basis.
“Today, we can see that technology and connectivity allow brands to find new ways to strengthen the bond with the consumer, as is the case of Corona with Corona Paradise. The brand expands its lifestyle to other platforms, directly impacting the lives of those who identify with its essence and purpose”, explains Paula Guz, director of marketing transformation from Ambev.
