Created by the Nova agency, the pieces will be published in digital and offline media
The Ministry of Health started the national vaccination campaign against polio, bringing the concept “Vaccination against polio. Take good care of our future champions” in the pieces.
Created by Nova, the campaign is inspired by Brazil’s participation in the Paris Olympic Games and reminds parents and guardians of the importance of vaccinating future champions.
“Working on the dissemination strategy of a campaign with a national impact, with the purpose of bringing information to millions of people and encouraging one of the main social and public health practices, which is vaccination, is very gratifying. We are strengthening trust in the culture of protecting our children”, says Márcio Nazianzeno, editor of Nova.
The main film of the campaign features the participation of Zé Gotinha and, in the images, children under five wear the green and yellow uniform of the National Movement for Vaccination and practice the most diverse types of Olympic sports with the encouragement of the mascot.
The action also includes a film about Polio D-Day, on June 8, which will be the last vaccination campaign that will use the drop vaccine. From the second half of 2024, children will begin to receive the injectable vaccine as a means of protecting against infantile paralysis.
The pieces will be published in the main digital and offline media outlets. The vaccination campaign ends on June 14th and children aged one to five years old can be vaccinated free of charge in more than 47 thousand Basic Health Units throughout Brazil.
