The production is a project of Porta dos Outros, a business unit of Porta dos Fundos.
Descomplica closed a partnership with Porta dos Fundos to discuss the choice of professions, employability and the skills that are increasingly required in the job market today.
In a skit on the channel, called “Promising Careers”, Stepan Nercessian and Rafael Portugal play father and son in a frank and fun conversation about one of the biggest dilemmas of young people and adolescents: which profession to choose when taking the entrance exam.
In the video, while Rafael Portugal’s character wants to opt for established professions that are still considered synonymous with stability, Stepan Nercessian’s character tries to show his son the new reality of what awaits us in the future: increasingly fluid and intimate careers linked to technology.
“It’s interesting how the skit inverts the cliché of the logic that parents always expect their children to be doctors, engineers or lawyers, while their children want to be youtubers”, explained Daniel Pedrino, president of Descomplica Faculdade Digital.
The production is a project of Porta dos Outros, a business unit of Porta dos Fundos, which aims to develop and produce original and attractive content, in different formats and platforms, helping brands to relate to their audience.
“Porta makes us laugh at ourselves, at the problems we face on a daily basis and at the issues that afflict us as members of a complex and multiple society. It is no different for young people who are in the pre-university phase. If we can contribute in some way to such a relevant reflection on choices, professions and the future, why not do it with humor?”, said Ian SBF, director and founding partner of Porta dos Fundos.
