Boomit consultancy does leadership development work to accelerate expansion and commitment to emotional salary
Led by executive Marcelo Lenhard, Hands is preparing to go public. The idea is to decentralize the business from a single owner with the participation of employees who contribute to the growth of the agency, which plans to increase revenue by 40% in 2024, the same volume as in the last two years.
The new partners have not yet been identified, but the consultancy Boomit is leading the work to develop new leaders with a focus on sustainable growth, a fundamental asset to accelerate the expansion process. The eight area managers, in addition to COO Emili Radunz and CCO Bruno Pavani, receive monthly development and are evaluated four times a year using pre-established questions. “We take the issue of governance very seriously”, summarizes Lenhard, founder, CEO and sole shareholder.
The emotional salary of a motivated team matches Hands’ slogan: ‘Emotion driving agency’. The plan is to provoke new thoughts “to make you shiver”. Why? “Traditional communication takes a long time to unlock barriers between the brain and the consumer. We believe that emotion is the great memorable connection with recall”, says Lenhard, who continues to encourage his 45 permanent employees not to stick to the briefings. In his opinion, observing to propose disruptive thinking is what contributes to generating value and trust.
“We have a culture that considers less obvious factors. The desire to do better puts the baton at a higher level. This thing about a blacksmith’s house that’s made of iron is what counts at Hands. That’s why we do rigorous homework to engage all projects, including the 300 employees who join the operation in the second half of the year”, says Lenhard.
What he recommends to clients, Lenhard says he puts into practice. For example, this year, after SXSW, we organized a TakeOff event with insights from the agenda in Austin, USA. Lenhard explains that, as there is a lot of content available, using a qualitative filter means that what is essential for marketing management is not lost.
