Transaction value reported was R$120 million
Fast food chain operator, Zamp confirmed this Thursday (6) the purchase of Starbucks for R$120 million. Currently, the chain is responsible for managing Popeyes and Burger King in the country.
SouthRock, which operated the coffee shop chain in Brazil, filed for judicial recovery at the end of 2023.
Zamp also informed that it will purchase the assets in a competitive process of closed proposals, being able to match any offers presented by third parties.
The transaction will still have to be approved by Cade (Administrative Council for Economic Defense)
