Alongside Fernanda Gentil, the influencer highlighted the channel’s sports broadcasts and relationships with brands
Casimiro Miguel and Fernanda Gentil shared the Global Stage space on the third day of Rio2C, this Thursday (6), to share the history and future projects that CazéTV will present to the public later this year.
Owner of a channel with more than 12 million subscribers, Cazé recalled his beginnings on YouTube, when he made reactions to other videos and recorded from his room.
“People ask if I am fulfilling my dream and I say no, because I never imagined that all this would happen one day. I never imagined living what we are living, I never thought about having a television channel. Everything is very recent, I did everything from my room, alone, on my channel and, out of nowhere, I’m broadcasting the World Cup in a studio and alongside a huge team. We’re living a daydream”, said the influencer.
Furthermore, he also recalled that the CazéTV project was born just a few days before the broadcast of the men’s World Cup, in 2022, when the channel broke several audience records.
After its broadcast success, the channel became “the home” of several other championships such as Paulistão, Carioca, Club World Cup (men’s and women’s), Pan-American Games, Brasileirão (in Athletico Paranaense’s home games) and now He will also be one of those responsible for the Paris Olympic Games, which start on June 26th, and the EuroCup.
“Now, after the World Cup broadcast, we have a greater responsibility for coverage because we have already established a position in the market. We invested a lot, listened to the public’s criticism and praise, tried to evolve and improve what we considered good, correct what was bad and I think we’re going to have a very special Euro Cup and Olympics”, he highlighted.
He also spoke about the importance of offering this content free of charge to the public, since almost all content produced by the channel is delivered in this way. According to Cazé, this is one of his team’s main concerns, since not everyone has access to pay TV content, where there are many sports broadcasts, for example.
Throughout the panel, Fernanda Gentil also took the opportunity to talk about the experiences she is living after being hired by CazéTV, highlighting the importance that the channel has taken on sports broadcasts and how this brought them closer to the athletes.
According to her, thanks to the tone of voice used by the entire team, people feel comfortable talking to the channel without worrying about how this would reverberate throughout the country. Another point raised by the presenter was the CazéTV “lifestyle”, which makes fans feel close to the channel and follow the broadcasts faithfully.
“When people connect to CazéTV, they know what they are going to find and they want the lifestyle that the channel has become,” said Fernanda.
Furthermore, she also stated that it is precisely this “lifestyle” that makes brands contact the channel and want to be on broadcasts.
“This also has repercussions and touches on something that is fundamental, which is sponsorship. There has to be sponsorship to make everything we do viable and the actions we do are very much in line with what is done at CazéTV. It’s cool to see how brands are open to this, to participating in the channel, but in our way. They trust us and know that the result will be cool”, he added.
