Inside Out 2 opens on June 20th in Brazilian cinemas
Disney and Pixar held a spoiler night for the new film Inside Out 2 for guests at São João da Thay. This edition marks the third year of collaboration between Disney and the event, which began the partnership in 2019 with Toy Story 4. Inside Out 2 premieres on June 20th exclusively in theaters.
Inside Out 2, from Disney and Pixar, re-enters the mind of Riley, now a teenager, at the moment when the control center undergoes demolition to make way for new emotions. Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust don’t know how they feel when Anxiety, Shame, Boredom and Envy arrive.
Influencers and celebrities present at São João da Thay were able to see the opening minutes of the Disney animation first hand, such as Thaynara OG, Sasha and her husband João, Lore Improta, Isabelle Nogueira (Cunhã), Beatriz Reis (Bia do Brás), Pequena Lo, Valesca Popozuda, Samanta Alves, Tia Má, Lucas Lima, among others.
In addition, Disney and Pixar promoted a film-themed square dance with costumes representing each emotion from the new animation during the event. The dance was created and produced by Matutos do Rei, a cultural association in Maranhão that develops June dances with the aim of promoting and preserving Maranhão culture.
São João da Thay is held annually by the influencer and presenter from Maranhão, Thaynara OG, and all profits from the event are donated to entities in Maranhão supported by the United Nations Children’s Fund (Unicef), an institution in which Thaynara is an ambassador.
