The awards have 19 categories that celebrate innovation, creativity, effectiveness and business impact
Smarties Brasil 2024, an award ceremony held by MMA Latam, has opened registration. The deadline to participate ends on August 16th and the winners will be announced on October 22nd, in a ceremony held for more than 500 people, at the Hotel Unique.
The 19 categories are divided into three macro disciplines, whose jury presidents have already been defined: Alvaro Garcia, CMO of Mondelēz, is in charge of the Marketing Impact jury; Fernanda Infantini, head of media at Kenvue, leads Impact Media, Tech & Growth; and Henrique Mendonça, executive communications manager at Cimed, will coordinate Creative & Innovation Impact. More than 1,500 registrations are expected in this edition across Latin America.
For Fabiano Destri Lobo, CEO of MMA Latam, Smarties goes beyond the award and becomes an inspiration and education tool where cases that generated real impact for brands are highlighted.
“There are several cool awards in our industry, what we need is to tell the stories behind these winning cases. Demonstrate how they moved the needle in the brands’ businesses. Our role as a community is to find the moments (whether in events, interviews, podcasts, etc.) where telling these stories is most effective, as well as educating and inspiring Marketing leaders across the industry”, he states.
