Africa has four chances of winning Leão and Almap classified a piece
Africa Creative and AlmapBBDO are the Brazilian agencies classified in the Audio & Radio category of Cannes Lions 2024. Africa competes with the play ‘UninterruptAds Budweiser’, created for Budweiser, produced by La Carretera Filmes São Ppaulo, Modo Integrado de Produções and Mugshot São Paulo. The case, which seeks to resolve users’ “antipathy” towards ads on Spotify and converts tracks with mentions of the brand into targeted ads within the platform, competes in four different subcategories: Use of audio & radio as a medium; Use of music; Branded content/podcast and Consumer goods.
Almap classified ‘Rock DNA’ for Bilboard, produced by Acaca São Paulo and Punch Audio. In total, Audio & Radio has 75 pieces on the shortlist.
