DM9, AlmapBBDO and GUT SP lead the national ranking
Brazil ends the Cannes Lions 2024 International Festival of Creativity with 92 Lions, repeating the same number of awards from the previous year. There were two GPs, 14 Golds, 31 Silvers and 45 Bronzes. DM9 leads the national ranking, closely followed by AlmapBBDO. They were technically tied, with 112 and 111 points, respectively, and the same amount of prizes, with 16 Lions each. In the top 5, there are also GUT SP, VML and Africa Creative.
This Friday (21), the last day of the 71st edition of Cannes Lions, only Africa Creative and AlmapBBDO were awarded. Africa won Bronze with ‘Reviews’, created for Heinz, in Sustainable Development Goals. Almap’s Bronze came with the O Boticário ‘5 days give me a break’ campaign, developed for Father’s Day, in Glass.
Today, the results of Titanium, Film and the Grand Prix for Good Lions were also announced, categories in which the country did not win awards. Despite being left out of these competitions, DM9, AlmapBBDO and GUT SP have a strong chance of being chosen as Agency of the Year, or being among the top 3 at the festival.
