O Sony Channelconfirmed the production of the seventh season of Shark Tank Brasil, the biggest reality show of entrepreneurship today. In addition, the opening of registration for entrepreneurs who wish to participate in the program was also announced. Registrations can be made until May 25, 2022, directly through the Sony Channel website.
In 2021, the program featured more than 90 hours of recordings in which more than 80 entrepreneurs had the opportunity to present their business proposals to Tubarões. Of the 52 companies that took their ideas to the pond, more than 35 got a proposal from investors*. The sixth year of Shark Tank Brasil was also marked by the largest offer ever made in the history of the program in the country. During a fierce negotiation, Leonardo Arruda, founder of Decor Colors, closed a deal with João Appolinário and received an investment of 10 million reais.
Over the six editions of the program, Sony Channel aired 87 new episodes, including a special recorded with an audience, and more than 350pitcheswere presented toSharks. Co-production between Sony Pictures Television (SPT) and Floresta Produções, the seventh season of Shark Tank Brasil will feature 13 new episodes and is scheduled to premiere on Sony Channel in the second half of this year, with the start of recordings scheduled for this semester.
The award-winning “Shark Tank” franchise is based on the reality show “Dragons’ Den”, created by Nippon TV in Japan and distributed around the world by Sony Pictures Television. The format has been successfully adapted and has already captivated audiences in over 40 territories, including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the United States, Mexico and Colombia.
