Created by the Trama-Reputale Group, the video manifesto provides data on inequality in Brazil
The Volkswagen Group Foundation announced social mobility as a priority cause in a video manifesto, with the aim of expanding the organization’s social impact in Brazil.
The video, created by the Trama-Reputale Group, presents impactful data on inequality in Brazil and the work that the institution has been developing since 1979, presenting the new purpose “Together for Social Mobility”.
“After 45 years of history, this change represents an even greater commitment to promoting equity in Brazil. Income concentration and lack of opportunities prevent millions of Brazilians from reaching their full potential. We believe that productive inclusion, through entrepreneurship and employability, combined with strengthening local capacities and social assistance, is the most effective way to promote social justice and equal opportunities in the country,” explains Vitor Hugo Neia, CEO and director of institutional relations at the Volkswagen Group Foundation.
The organization also launched its new visual identity celebrating the legacy of its history and reinforcing the connection between the three new lines of action: productive inclusion, social assistance and strengthening of local capacities. Together, the three lines of the symbol form the basis of a geometric figure that refers to a person with open arms.
The new positioning, planned until 2030, is aligned with the UN 2030 Agenda.
