In two years of its productive inclusion platform, Bora, Ambev generated more than R$620 million in indirect income for Brazilians. The company’s new campaign celebrates the significant results of the platform, which creates new job opportunities, professional development and connections between job seekers and those looking to hire. To date, more than 500,000 people have participated in the positive impact programs offered by Bora.
The initiative’s mission is to impact 5 million people in Brazil in ten years. According to Oppen Social, a consultancy that develops impact solutions, those who participate in Bora have a 33% greater chance of getting a job and twice as much chance of generating income for themselves, promoting shared growth within their ecosystem.
Ambev’s positive impact journey began decades ago. In 2017, Ambev created AMA water, which by 2024, reached the milestone of providing access to clean water to 1 million people in Brazil. The following year, the company launched VOA, a social transformation project that shares knowledge and management experiences with NGOs.
“We are taking a leap forward in the social area that challenges us to bring solutions to society’s problems at the same speed as we innovate with our products,” explains Carlos Pignatari, Director of Social Impact at Ambev.
Bora is Ambev’s most recent project, and it represents more than a platform for productive inclusion. It is a tool for social and economic transformation, focused on creating sustainable and lasting opportunities. In this vein, Ambev continues to promote initiatives that benefit not only individuals, but also their communities and the country as a whole.
