He even won an Oscar for the latter. And now it’s coming up in an action movie, directed by none other than David Leitch. For those who don’t remember his name, he is the director of Deadpool 2. That is, knowing this, and seeing the first trailer for Bullet Train, you can imagine that something very fun is coming.
Bullet Train is a comic thriller. It is based on the book Maria Beetle, by Kôtarô Isaka. Brad Pitt heads an eclectic cast of assassins – all with connected but conflicting goals – against the backdrop of frenetic modern Japan. Other names include Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Zazie Beetz, Logan Lerman. Plus Michael Shannon, Brian Tyree Henry and Hikoyuki Sanada. Director David Leitch and Brad Pitt have known each other for a long time. David was Brad’s stunt double in several films such as O Fight Club, Troy e Sr. e Sra. Smith. Brad even had a fun and very special cameo in Deadpool 2 – remember?
