With more than 30 integrated stores, collaboration seeks to make consumers’ lives easier.
A Oxxoa chain of local markets with more than 500 stores in the state of São Paulo alone, is expanding its operations by establishing a strategic partnership with Rap. The new collaboration aims to provide even more convenience to consumers by allowing them to order their favorite Oxxo products directly through the Rappi app.
“The expectation is to increase the recurrence of purchases by customers who already frequent the physical store and also increase the acquisition of new customers”, says Abelardo Garcia, Commercial, Marketing and Digital Business Director at Oxxo.
This initiative represents a significant step for Oxxo, which is looking to increase its presence in the fast and efficient delivery market, characteristics for which Rappi is recognized. With the possibility of offering everything from traditional convenience store products to fresh items like French bread, Oxxo aims to attract new customers and further retain those who already frequent its physical stores.
According to Andrea Sylos, Rappi’s e-commerce director, the partnership between Oxxo and Rappi is a convergence of purposes.
“Both want to be increasingly closer to customers, providing quality products through a unique and agile service that helps make our users’ routines easier,” shares Andrea.
Starting this month, more than 30 Oxxo stores in several cities will be integrated into the Rappi delivery service, covering areas such as São Paulo, São Bernardo do Campo, Guarulhos, Osasco, Campinas, Jundiaí, Santos and Praia Grande.
“Not all stores will necessarily be enabled. The partnership with Rappi allows us to be wherever is most convenient and offer access to our physical store through the digital channel, with fast and convenient delivery just a click away,” explains the network’s Commercial, Marketing and Digital Business Director.
