The production company aims to create new narratives and exalt Brazilianness
Landscape, led by Gustavo Gripe, announced the arrival of Signo Filmes to the audiovisual market.
The production company, launched by Liv Stacciarini and Nico Matteis, aims to create new narratives through films that move, inspire and exalt Brazilianness in its different forms.
“Liv and Nico represent what we will do from now on in Landscape. They are directors who move freely between creativity and production, making choices that enhance the union of the two disciplines. Liv uses the same sensitivity in transforming a sentence from a script into a scene to produce casting for a film by Nico. Nico’s strategic vision in setting up logistics is so that he has more time to collaborate on the photography of a film by Liv. Signo has a design of what I believe will be our model for the coming years.”, explains Gustavo Gripe.
Nico has worked in the entire audiovisual industry as an editor, camera operator, assistant director and director of photography. With over 18 years of experience in the industry, he was part of the directorial team at the production companies Corazón, Saigon and Boiler.
Liv tried out several positions on set before becoming a director. The professional, with a background in acting, was also a producer before becoming an assistant director. She worked at Kollectiv and Boiler Filmes, contributing to commercials for brands such as Ford, Adidas, Avon, KitKat, Banco de Brasil, Itaú, Itaipava, before founding Signo.
Signo will also have Juliana Arantes as executive producer, who has worked at the production companies Academia de Filmes and Cia de Filmes, as well as Age, McGarry, Betc and DM9.
