Piece, signed by Soko, recalls important moments of former Brazilian athletes and invites the public to do the same
Corona, through Corona Cero — global sponsor of the 2024 Olympic Games —, has called on a team of national sports legends to star in its campaign for the championship.
Among the names are Daiane dos Santos, Hortência, Gustavo Borges, Virna Dias, Vanderlei Cordeiro and Oscar Schmidt, athletes who made history but never won an Olympic medal. In the film, produced by Soko, they recall iconic moments from the past and invite the public to celebrate as well.
“With the film, Corona Cero exalts the true stories of Olympic athletes’ golden years and shows that the Olympic pinnacle goes far beyond the medal. It is the overcoming, the unforgettable moments of celebration, the toasts and the celebrations of all the achievements that marked their trajectory,” said Gabriela Gallo, head of Corona in Brazil.
In addition to the film, the brand will also record the stories through art spread across important points in Rio de Janeiro, created by artist Juliana Fervo and former Olympic athlete Laís Souza.
