Pródigo Filmes announced the arrival of the duo Blue, formed by scene directors Carol AÓ and Helder Fruteira.
Carol AÓ is a director and screenwriter from Salvador. She has experience as a script supervisor, assistant director and script consultant on major productions for Netflix, Amazon, Star+ and HBO.
She has worked on notable works such as “The Invisible Life”, by Karim Aïnouz; “Doctor Gama” and “M8”, by Jeferson De; “The Other Side of the Sky”, by Gabriel Mascaro; and the two seasons of the series “Invisible City”, in which she collaborated with the director, Luis Carone, and had space to insert herself in the direction with active listening.
Helder Fruteira has worked for clients such as Netflix, Google, Natura, Facebook, Universal Music, Itaipava and AKQA Casa. In 2022, he was an assistant director on the series about fighter Anderson Silva, produced by Pródigo for Paramount+.
He has also directed music videos for artists such as Criolo, Tasha & Tracie, Projota, MC Soffia, Don L, Froid and Pedro Sampaio. Before joining the Pródigo team, Helder was a partner and director at Ladybird.
