In celebration of the 50th anniversary of one of the most iconic characters in pop culture, the Mail, federal public company responsible for implementing the mail sending and delivery system, brings to Brazil the launch of postal stamps of Hello Kitty.
For the first time in Latin America, the new product will feature three exclusive models, each available in sheets consisting of 12 postage stamps. Purchases can be made at the online store and physical Correios branches, offering a memorable piece for fans and collectors who grew up with the character.
According to Monica Joseph, Commercial and Marketing Manager at Sanrio in Brazil, the main objective of the collection is to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the character, an icon of tenderness and joy that has transcended generations.
“The new product promises to be a true journey through time. We are certain that the stamps will provide moments of great nostalgia and happiness for all fans, reinforcing the emotional connection that many have with the character,” says Monica.
For Fabiano Silva dos Santos, president of Correios, the collection reflects the company’s commitment to bringing joy and innovation to customers and is part of the state-owned company’s strategy to rejuvenate its brand.
“This new edition combines the tradition of philately with the charm that Hello Kitty represents for several generations. We hope that buyers will fall in love with this special edition, which is a significant milestone not only for Correios, but also for pop culture throughout Brazil,” concludes the president.
Sales are on demand and will be available until December 31st. For more information, visit official site.
