Vibrant new prints pay tribute to the 40th anniversary of Latin America’s biggest music festival.
Havaianas has just announced a limited collection inspired by Rock in Rio Brasil. With two new prints, the new products are a vibrant tribute to the 40th anniversary of the largest music festival in Latin America and promise to win over collectors and fans who are passionate about living with lightness, freedom and authenticity.
“Rock in Rio is a major event in Brazil, with the power to connect and delight different audiences, just like Havaianas. In addition to being a tribute to the festival’s 40th anniversary, the idea behind this collection is to allow fans to wear their Havaianas after the shows and experience the festival all year long, remembering the incredible experience they had,” said Maria Fernanda Albuquerque, Global VP of Marketing for Havaianas.
The models were designed with prints that refer to Rock in Rio, reflecting its spirit and energy in the classic Havaianas Top. One of them highlights the festival logo in several vibrant colors, while the other has a black and white print with the 40th anniversary commemorative seal and contrasting red straps that feature the metallic Havaianas logo in the same color as a distinctive feature.
Since its debut in 1985 in Rio de Janeiro, Rock in Rio has become a true global phenomenon, attracting millions of music fans of all ages and backgrounds.

The collection will be on sale from August 13th at e-commerce of the brand, in its own stores, in selected franchises in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, and also in the official Rock in Rio store during the festival.
