According to Twitter/X, it’s already July 39th, the month that never ends. Despite the long and very cold weather in much of the country, advertisers delivered good work for a weather known for being lukewarm due to the hangover from Cannes. ADNews’ highly anticipated July TopPubli campaigns focused on emotion, technology, nostalgia and activism. Here are the five that stood out:
#5 Your path matters
Client: Buser | Agency: In-house
Buser, the travel platform that has already won the hearts of millions of Brazilians, has a new look! And what better way than a campaign that says it all: ‘Your journey matters’. Buser, known for revolutionizing the bus travel market with affordable prices and lots of innovation, is now positioning itself as a true mobitech. The new campaign film is an invitation to reflect on our travel choices, highlighting that the journey is as important as the destination. The message? Traveling with Buser means having freedom and innovation in the palm of your hand.
#4 Statistics
Client: NOIZ | Agency: Various
Get ready for a punch in the gut – the kind that makes you think. The NGO NOIZ, straight from Cidade de Deus, brings you a powerful film called ‘Statistics’. The message is clear: it’s time to change the rules of the game. With real stories and an authentic cast, the film denounces social inequalities and promotes empowerment. After all, if it’s already difficult to understand statistics, fighting against them is a real mission. This campaign promises to move people and make everyone reflect on the opportunities we need to create for everyone.
#3 BYD King. The new king of the streets
Client: BYD | Agency: WE
Pelé, the eternal King of Football, is back on the big screen to launch the new king of the streets: the BYD King. This plug-in hybrid arrives with everything, exuding elegance and sophistication. The campaign, with voiceover by Paulo Miklos, draws an exciting parallel between Pelé’s career and the debut of the sedan. It is a tribute that reminds us that it is not the name that makes the king, but his achievements. This is the first commercial with Pelé since his passing in December 2022, and promises to touch the hearts of Brazilians and football lovers.
#2 60 years going down round
Client: Skol | Agency: GUT São Paulo
Skol is celebrating its 60th anniversary and, as always, promises to go down well! The beer that is synonymous with fun and good stories is launching the ’60 years going down well’ campaign, celebrating six decades of connection with Brazilians. The new campaign is a toast to all the generations that enjoyed every sip and to all the stories that are yet to come.
