New feature is part of the restructuring of Globo’s Digital Products area
Globo announced the new structure of the Digital Products and Paid Channels department, which will now be called Digital Products, and announced the hiring of Julia Rueff to lead Globoplay.
With a 20-year career in digital environments, Julia, a publicist with a degree from PUC-RJ and an MBA in Business from Insper, has participated in the transformation and expansion of Mercado Livre’s operations in Brazil over the past seven years as the platform’s VP of Marketplace. With a degree from the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance, the executive is also a board member at TV1.
The executive will join Globo’s Digital Products team, led by Manuel Belmar, and will play an important role in consolidating Globoplay as a premium consumer destination for the Brazilian public. Alongside Julia, Belmar will be Tatiana Costa, as Director of Entertainment Channels and News & Content, an area that will integrate content management with non-sports paid channels; Eduardo Gabbay, in charge of Sports Channels; Rodolfo Bastos, as Director of Publishing Products; and Andrea Tuttman, responsible for the Intelligence and Portfolio area.
