Digital payments company has been a partner of the league for almost 30 years
Visa has announced its official sponsorship of the first National Football League (NFL) game in Brazil. The digital payments company has had a partnership with the league for almost 30 years.
“The game is more than just a sporting event – it’s an exciting cultural experience that boosts the city’s economy and aligns perfectly with Visa’s goal of bringing people together around a shared passion,” said Carla Mita, vice president of marketing at Visa.
In recent years, Visa has helped the NFL deliver innovative solutions to deliver cashless payment experiences at stadiums and venues across the United States. In Brazil, Visa will be an official partner of the 2024 NFL Game in São Paulo, and NFL stores will feature “presented by Visa” signs. Brand activations are also scheduled to take place at the stadium.
The first NFL game in the country will be between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Green Bay Packers and will take place on September 6th, at 9:00 pm, at Arena Corinthians, in São Paulo.
