The group informed that the presence in the country goes against the company’s values
The WPP has announced that it will end operations in Russia, due to the country’s war on Ukraine. According to a statement released on Friday, the WPP Board’s decision concluded that WPP’s continued presence in Russia would be inconsistent with its values as a company.
The WPP has around 1,400 people in the country.
The group, in a statement, lamented the impact of the decision on the lives of Russian professionals. “We will support them and work collaboratively with our customers and partners as we discontinue activities in the country,” he said.
