The Hemmer brand took advantage of a golden opportunity by creating an Instagram post with Olympic champion Rebeca Andrade. The action was inspired by a relaxed interview that Rebeca gave to TV Globo, where she revealed a curious fact about her mental preparation for competitions.
During the interview, Rebeca Andrade was asked about what goes through her mind while she warms up for the competitions. The gymnast surprised everyone by confessing that her thoughts often wander to the culinary universe. “I was thinking about mayonnaise. I was thinking about the recipes. When I get back to Brazil, I want to make it,” joked Rebeca.
Hemmer quickly turned this statement into an opportunity post. In the image, Rebeca holds a jar of Hemmer mayonnaise next to the title: “And it wasn’t just any mayonnaise that she was traveling with.” The post was well received by the public, generating a wave of positive comments.
Kraft Heinz, a multinational food company that acquired Hemmer in 2022, has chosen it to be the main brand for its sponsorship of the Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB). This is the largest sponsorship investment in the company’s history in the country, aiming to boost Hemmer so that, in addition to being traditional and strong in the South of Brazil, it is also known throughout the country.
