Popeyes announces the launch of the special and limited edition of the ONION BACON CHICKENfor the closest friends the famous CBF.
The new Popeyes sandwich is its original version of the CBO, it is made with 100% Chicken Breast, Lettuce, Crispy Onion, Bacon, Louisiana Soul Sauce, Cheddar Cheese and Brioche Bunwas designed to deliver one of the favorite recipes of the Brazilian consumer, who had been clamoring for a new release like this on social networks.
In addition to ingredients that please the national public, the product also has the famous technique of breading the chain, which makes the chicken much more crispy, enhancing the striking flavors of the marinade – a differential that only Popeyes knows how to deliver.
Since arriving in Brazil in 2018, Popeyes has been actively listening to consumers and fried chicken lovers to present products that are consistent with the Brazilian palate.
“We have identified, in our research, that this combination of ingredients is historically a consumer favorite offast-foodcountry and that, with Popeyes’ fried chicken, the recipe could be taken to a new level, after all, we are specialists. We want to conquer more and more hearts – and stomachs – with the most varied menu innovations, because we know that whoever tastes our food, falls in love!”, says Juliana Cury, director of Popeyes and Burger King brands in Brazil.
For the launch, GUT, the global creative agency of the Popeyes network, revisited an already known campaign on social media, giving a spoiler in a post with a curtain, presenting only a C and saying: get ready. The action seeks to promote curiosities on the subject. In addition, the agency developed a plan of content actions, influencers and with communities of consumers who are passionate about novelties and will be for the sandwich made of Onion, Bacon and Fried Chicken. The key visual of the campaign follows the Popeyes elements and color palette, with shades of orange and yellow.
“We are looking to broaden our brand perception with strategies that are giving us great results and for that, we will have some launches to generate even more experimentation with our product. The year 2022 promises many new features, including our landing in more states in Brazil”, adds Juliana.
Popeyes is present in cities in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. The product can be found in these states, as of today, in chain restaurants and digital platforms (App and Delivery), with prices starting at R$26.90. The edition is limited and will be available for a period of 60 days.
