Mayra Cordeiro and Daniel Oliveira will report directly to CEO Davi Simões
OMZ has announced a strategic reorganization of its leadership structure. Davi Simões, CEO of OMZ, will now have other executives in C-Level positions at his side. Mayra Cordeiro, previously executive director of customer service and creation, will now be CCO, and Daniel Oliveira, who was previously director of planning and media, will take on the role of CMO.
About to complete nine years of operation, the agency works with brands such as Klabin, Votorantim Cimentos, Gerdau, GOL (VoeBiz) and CBA (Companhia Brasileira de Alumínio), among others, with revenues that have grown at an average rate of 32% annually since its foundation.
Mayra Cordeiro will lead the areas of creation, production and operations as CCO, and Daniel Oliveira will head the areas of planning, media, digital and new business as CMO.
“OMZ was created to work directly in line with the objectives and optimization of business results for clients, with creativity as the guiding principle. Now, we are at a strategic moment to do this from the inside out. The reorganization distributes some of the agency’s primary functions into the hands of extremely competent and prepared leaders, which will certainly optimize our processes and ensure the maintenance of our constant growth,” says Davi Simões.
In addition to the C-level, OMZ is also making other promotions. Head Denis Poggian now assumes the position of operations director, also absorbing the service area, which will undergo a change in profiles, processes and tools, merging with the project management area and becoming an account management area. Sâmara Paz was promoted to planning manager to accelerate tactical deliveries and enable the current heads of planning, Guilherme Braga and Gabriel Rosset, to remain focused on large integrated campaigns. The duo also takes on a new area dedicated to new business, leading active and passive prospecting, competitions and special projects.
In line with its growth strategy, OMZ also has a design arm for creating logos, visual identities, packaging and large-scale graphic materials. Heading up the area are Tiago Martichello and Adriana Mastelli. Also part of the structure is the production arm OMZ Films, led by creative director Gabriel Muchon, which provides support not only to the agency’s portfolio of clients, but also to other demands for special projects and fast production. OMZ also includes the strategic boutique Confirmatória, which specializes in analytics and data science. Lorene Guirado is the general director who heads up this data science pillar of the agency, reporting to CMO Daniel Oliveira.
