Ticket, a brand of Edenred Brasil de Benefícios e Engajamento, is supporting the McDia Feliz campaign for the 18th time. Led by Arcos Dorados, operator of the McDonald’s brand in Brazil, the initiative has been running for over 36 years with the aim of raising funds for education projects and the fight against childhood and adolescent cancer. This year, the event will take place on August 24 at all participating McDonald’s locations.
Ticket will support the campaign by issuing more than one million tickets that can be exchanged for Big Macs. The brand relies on a large logistics operation for printing, management and distribution to deliver the tickets. Sales are being made through campaign website and end on August 18th.
All proceeds from the sale of Big Mac sandwiches at McDia Feliz, excluding taxes, will be redirected to 80 projects from 49 institutions fighting childhood cancer from the north to the south of the country. The funds will also be directed to education projects through the Ayrton Senna Institute. And, exceptionally in the 2024 edition of McDia Feliz, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of each Big Mac will be allocated to an Open Fund created by Arcos Dorados and administered by the Ronald McDonald Institute, exclusively to manage actions that contribute to the reconstruction of Rio Grande do Sul.
“One of our main pillars is the promotion of initiatives that ensure well-being, quality of life and solidarity. That is why we are proud to support this cause for 18 years. Investment in education and the fight against childhood cancer are fundamental issues that must receive ongoing attention and support from society. At Ticket, we always aim to think of solutions that benefit everyone and make a difference in people’s lives,” says Jean Castro, Ticket’s Director of Establishment Network.
