Pitch had participation from five agencies
The fast food chain KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) has a new advertising services provider. DM9 was chosen through a competitive process, conducted by the client itself, to meet the advertiser’s marketing communication demands.
The business was in VML’s business portfolio, which participated in the pitch with DPZ (plus Performics), Suno United Creators and AlmapBBDO.
The KFC chain has been on the Brazilian market at various times. In the 1960s, it arrived on the initiative of Pepsico. Currently, the franchise is managed by the IMC group (International Meals Company), which also controls Pizza Hut and Frango Assado.
According to Exame magazine, IMC’s total net revenue in Brazil was R$2.6 billion in 2023 and total sales reached R$3.2 billion in the same period. There are 160 stores, 85 of which are owned. Information from the KFC website.
