In addition to the editorial agreement, the companies will work on the development of special advertising projects
UOL announced a content partnership with the website O Antagonista and the magazine Crusoé.
With the agreement, the selected contents of the site and the magazine will have links on several pages and stations of UOL, allowing site visitors to read the texts even if they are in areas restricted to Antagonista and Crusoé subscribers.
“The plurality of content is one of our foundations. Therefore, having the Antagonista and Crusoé websites within what we offer to our audience is a natural move for us”, said Paulo Samia, CEO of UOL CS (Conteúdo e Serviços).
In addition to the editorial agreement, the companies will work on the development of special advertising projects, which will be taken jointly to the advertising market in the coming weeks. The sites will also exchange technology and tools with the aim of leveraging both the site’s audience and the platforms’ technical performance.
The website O Antagonista and the magazine Crusoé were created by journalists Diogo Mainardi and Mario Sabino.
“I am jumping for joy with this partnership with UOL. It is an agreement in which we can only win”, said Mainardi. “The partnership with UOL goes far beyond the commercial aspect. It opens editorial horizons for both O Antagonista and Crusoé. I also believe that we will help UOL to offer its subscribers and visitors even more diversity of points of view”, added Sabino.
