Brazil’s greatest Olympic medalist in history, Rebeca Andrade, will be honored by adidas at an event at Parque Villa Lobos, in São Paulo, this Saturday (24). The gymnast, who is a partner of the brand, will be accompanied by important figures in her career, including her coach, Francisco Porath Neto.
The event, open to the public, will also include a gymnastics class for children from the Brasileirinhos IV projects in the Aricanduva and Paraisópolis neighborhoods, as well as those who are present at the park. The session will be led by Francisco Porath Neto, with places available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Recently, at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Rebeca Andrade won four medals: gold in the floor exercise, silver in the vault and in the individual all-around, and bronze in the team event. With this result, she became Brazil’s greatest Olympic medalist. At the Tokyo Olympics, Rebeca had already won gold in the floor exercise and silver in the individual all-around.
