The action will be carried out next Thursday (29) and seeks to correctly dispose of this type of material
Burger King will reward gaming fans who have had a part of their gaming PC burned, in celebration of Gamer’s Day, next Thursday (29).
The company announced that, only on August 29, anyone who shows up at participating Burger King stores and brings a burnt piece of a gaming PC or video game console will be able to win a Whopper. “We have a strong connection with e-Sports and we want to somehow reward those BK fans who are part of the gaming universe. This was a fun way to bring more flavor, even after their equipment has been gamed over,” explains Igor Puga, CMO of Zamp, the master franchisee of Burger King and Popeyes in Brazil.
The initiative will be carried out in partnership with the Brazilian Association for the Recycling of Electronic and Household Appliances (Abree), which carries out the reverse logistics of these products in the country with the aim of ensuring environmentally appropriate final disposal. For the action, Abree collection boxes will be placed in 23 Burger King stores.
