The new season of Shark Tank Brazil, which premieres in September, will have a new master sponsor: fintech Asaas, a digital account aimed at companies. Asaas seeks to create synergy with the reality show, aligning its goal of facilitating and streamlining the routine of entrepreneurs with the central theme of the program.
Last season, Shark Tank Brazil reached more than 32 million views between September and December 2023 on YouTube. Originally broadcast on Sony Channel, the show adopted a digital strategy, anticipating broadcast on the video platform. Given the success of this approach, the show will continue to be broadcast multiplatform this year.
“This is another step we are taking that reinforces our commitment to supporting and fostering the entrepreneurial and innovative spirit in Brazil. As the master sponsor of the most relevant program from the point of view of entrepreneurship on Brazilian TV, we highlight our mission to increasingly connect with people and companies that have innovation as one of their pillars and strength to face all the challenges ahead,” says Júnior Beltrão, marketing director of Asaas.
The sponsorship will include several marketing actions during the season, such as displaying QR Codes on the screen and commercials during commercial breaks. In addition to Shark Tank Brazil, Asaas’ campaigns, which feature presenter Evaristo Costa as the poster boy, will also be broadcast on pay TV channels, such as AXN, TNT and Discovery Channel.
Asaas offers a digital account that serves more than 160,000 companies, automating financial management processes and reducing bureaucracy for businesses of all sizes. With 13 years in the market, the fintech has intensified its investments in marketing in the last three years, diversifying its presence in media channels and sponsoring sporting events. The company also has authorization from the Central Bank of Brazil as the 31st payment institution and a license to operate as a Direct Credit Society (SCD).
