New office will be led by Gus Marmarinos, managing director, and Lucas Bongioanni, chief creative officer (CCO)
GUT announced the launch of GUT New York, in the USA, the agency’s third in the country and ninth in six years.
The new office will be led by Gus Marmarinos, managing director, who returns to the agency after 20 years at Saatchi & Saatchi, and Lucas Bongioanni, chief creative officer (CCO), who was at The Community. Both will report to GUT US CEO Sandra Alfaro.

With key clients such as AB InBev, Procter & Gamble and Kraft Heinz, among others, and a robust team, GUT’s new office aims to grow and strengthen the agency’s presence in the US.
Throughout his career, Gus Marmarinos has partnered with Fortune 500 brands nationally and globally, including Cheerios, Olay, Iams, Lenovo, TikTok, Pantene, My Black is Beautiful, and Tide, among others.
The executive spent a few years as a strategist before moving back into account management. After spending almost 22 years at Saatchi, he has spent the last two years as a strategic consultant to a range of entrepreneurs, agencies and start-up clients.
