EDP has presented its new institutional campaign reinforcing the strategic importance of solar energy as a fundamental element for the social and economic development of communities. With the motto “Believe in the Sun”, the film, created by Havas and produced by Bro Cinema, reminds us that the sun is an inexhaustible source of energy and highlights how its use can bring tangible and significant benefits to families, companies and communities, from saving on energy bills to creating new jobs.
“This new film addresses this concern of the EDP group as part of its commitment to the energy transition. Solar energy is the central theme of the first film in this campaign, a renewable source that makes it possible to generate a positive impact on communities, creating jobs, stimulating the local economy, ensuring affordable energy for all and contributing to a more sustainable future with less dependence on fossil fuels”, explains Vera Pinto Pereira, EDP’s director.
The media plan includes a significant presence in digital media and social networks in EDP’s main markets, such as Portugal, Spain, Brazil, the United States of America and Singapore.
