Sol beer has announced its official sponsorship of Sol Sertões Kitesurf and Sertões MTB. Now an official partner and with naming rights acquired, the brand will be present at the mountain bike competition, which will take place from September 27 to 29 in Goiás, and then at the fourth edition of one of the main kitesurfing events, from October 23 to 26 in Ceará.
The partnership reflects Sol’s positioning on translating its sunny vibe into moments of life linked to sports and outdoor activities, as well as music and parties with good energy. “For us, this is not just a sponsorship, but rather an essential strategic partnership that reflects our brand. When we think of Sertões, we immediately associate it with adventure, the celebration of life and the possibility of enjoying every moment in incredible places. Sol is a beer for moments like these and we are happy with what we will build together”, celebrates Guilherme Bailão, director of sponsorships at the Heineken Group.
Sol Sertões Kitesurf will take place 100% in Ceará and is expected to attract a large number of athletes. The sailors will start the competition on the beaches of Fortim. They will then pass through Aquiraz, Trairi, Itarema and finish the competition on Praia do Preá, in the municipality of Cruz. During all the days of the competition, Sol beer will be present at different times.
At the end of each stage, the brand will host a “Pôr do Sol” happy hour, with a musical program featuring several DJs. It will also feature proprietary visuals on banners and flags, customized kites, products and materials in bars and other areas of the event. The activations between Sol and Sertões can be followed on social media, with coverage of the races and audiovisual content.
And, at Sertões MTB, which will take place between September 27th and 29th, the city of Pirenópolis, in Goiás, will host the competition for the second consecutive year. Competitors will cycle through the city, in different stages, in the pro and e-bike categories.
