With the motto “You can count on us, from small to big achievements”, the campaign places the consumer at the center of the narrative
Banco Carrefour has launched the campaign “You can count on us, from small to big achievements” to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Carrefour Card. Developed internally by the bank’s marketing team, the campaign reinforces the card’s positioning as being present in all moments of Brazilians’ lives and celebrates more than three decades of its history.
The campaign follows on from the slogan used for the 30th anniversary of the Carrefour Card, “You can count on us”, placing the consumer at the center of the narrative, with testimonials about the importance of this payment method in their lives, from the monthly shopping to the furniture for their home.
“Our customers have been able to count on us for 35 years, from shopping for a family lunch to making their dream trip come true. The inspiration for the institutional campaign comes from these customers, who are essential in building our history and our business. More than celebrating this date and remembering our trajectory, we want to celebrate our customers,” explains Rosiane Arraes, marketing, CRM and martech superintendent at Banco Carrefour.
The strategy also includes other actions such as “The achievement is yours, the bill is ours”, in which the Carrefour team listened to consumers’ reports about the importance of the card for them at a Carrefour Hiper and, at the end of the conversation, the purchase that the customer was making that day was paid for by the company as a way of reciprocating the years-long partnership.
In addition, the bank also promoted the initiative “Those who conquer, tell”, which was inspired by the reports received on social media about the importance of the card in the lives of customers. The participants selected for the action, in addition to having their stories published, received a basket of Carrefour products and a personalized letter.
