Brazil is facing a severe drought crisis, with temperatures well above the historical average in several regions, such as the Central-West and Southeast, where thermometers exceed 40°C. The combination of extreme heat and low humidity is resulting in uncontrolled fires, respiratory problems and lack of rain, affecting agriculture and water supply. What can we do? Find ways to reduce the heat. In advertising, there are several commercials that praise a typical Friday drink: beer. With this in mind, Adnews recalls below 10 classic commercials to cool your head in this intense heat:
Excursion
This DPZ film begins with that suffering, that despair of knowing that you are getting into trouble, all accompanied by many images of the little Kaiser guy having a drink (when this was still allowed by Conar), ending with the wonderful signature created by DPZ: “Can you have a Kaiser first?”:
On and on
The Brahma crab (or siri?) became famous in Brazil. The creation of F/Nazca became the talk of the town and, let’s face it, in recent days it seems that we are all a little bit like the Brahma crab.
Old rockers
When rock was still popular (I miss it), the Skol Rock festival in 1998 received a lot of publicity. The film featured four very friendly old headbangers who left the waiter amazed and the audience with a smile on their face.
Brahma Turtle
I don’t know if Brahma refreshes even the mind. But for those over 30, the film below was a huge advertising milestone. I miss you, F/Nazca…
Kaiser Shorty
The brilliant concept of this film is something that would make any advertising professional very proud of their chosen profession. Created by DPZ:
Zeca?
And when Fischer decided to invite Zeca Pagodinho to drink a different beer? The so-called Nova Schin. Try it!
Zeca
It was no surprise. Zeca returned to the beer he always loved. And he also pocketed advertising money from both companies ;-). Creation of Africa:
Bavaria
What is today? (this song will be stuck in your head for the rest of the day)
Are we here to drink or to chat?
A classic that not everyone knows today. Work by Almap (which wasn’t even called Almap yet).
Chopp watching the Girl pass by
A classic that brought together friends who were separated by what unites us all. A moving film by Fischer & Justus.
