Samsung launches its new SmartThings campaign in Vila do Chaves and highlights the company’s connectivity solutions throughout Latin America.
Samsung produced the campaign to demonstrate to consumers all the benefits and facilities that the platform brings to people’s lives.
The brand developed this exclusive campaign for Latin America in partnership with Grupo Chespirito, the original producer of the series.
“We want to demonstrate that home connectivity is within everyone’s reach in an easy way, using a narrative that explores consumers’ memories and emotions. What once seemed like magic is now innovation through SmartThings,” says Ilca Sierra, Samsung’s CMO for Latin America.
The video campaign was inspired by one of the most memorable episodes for fans and turns a classic Chaves scene into a connectivity experience.
Now, with a modern twist, Samsung technology brings the story to life, with Chaves and Chiquinha entering Dona Clotilde’s house. The characters encounter unexpected events: the door mysteriously opens by itself, curtains close by themselves, the room temperature suddenly drops and the lights turn off without warning. But what they don’t know is that these events are actually controlled by Dona Clotilde using the SmartThings app to keep intruders away.
