GUT announced the promotion of four executives to its board of directors, reinforcing its leadership at a time of accelerated growth.
For Valeria Barone, CEO of GUT São Paulo, when the agency grows, the board also needs to grow. “This strategic move recognizes the importance of having more people at the table to guide GUT’s growth, which has been happening quickly and organically,” says Barone.
The promoted executives include Alessandra Visintainer, now Managing Director (MD) and partner, who will bring her experience to face new challenges at the helm of the agency. Francine Pellacani, previously Group Account Director, takes over as Head of Growth, remaining at the helm of Ambev Brasil and focusing on new growth opportunities. Claudia Nakahara, formerly Operations Director, has been named Head of Operations, responsible for the operations of GUT São Paulo and GUT Design, with the goal of optimizing internal processes. Dolores de Pauli, promoted to Global Client Lead, will be in charge of global client operations, in addition to her current portfolio.

“Women are exceptional leaders, they have a 360º vision, they can foresee problems, evaluate the consequences of important decisions and, most importantly, they have the sensitivity to understand how people will be affected by these decisions”, adds Valeria Barone.
