The agency’s work, which has Brazilians Bernardo Tavares and Sávio Hatherly, went to the NGO Raparigas da Bola
Raparigas da Bola is an NGO from Portugal that works to give visibility to female athletes within the sport, which is still made up mostly of men. Therefore, the entity decided to take news about the athletes to the daily A Bola, one of the most important publications in Portugal.
During this week – and through augmented reality – it will be possible to exchange newspaper covers for news from female athletes.
The action was created by Havas Lisboa, which for the second year helps the group in the cause. Last year, the NGO used the day after International Women’s Day to show the difference in exposure given to male and female athletes.
For this purpose, they transformed the news from the three main sports newspapers in Portugal into infographics divided into two colors.
The idea was created by two Brazilians, advertisers Bernardo Tavares and Sávio Hatherly, and the development and implementation was signed by Studio Akt Creative.
