Created by InPress Porter Novelli, the campaign will be present on digital channels, newspapers, radio and TV
The Brazilian Oil and Gas Institute (IBP) has launched a campaign that aims to encourage reflection on the importance of the sector for the country.
Developed by InPress Porter Novelli, the communication is present on digital channels, newspapers, radio and TV with the narrative that highlights that, when it comes to evolving, there can be no lack of energy.
“The oil and gas sector should not be seen as an antagonist, but rather as a strategic partner in the construction of a balanced and sustainable energy matrix. There is an urgent need to debate how to integrate existing resources with new technologies, respecting present and future energy needs. With the Energy of Evolution campaign, we want to show the continued importance of these sources, promoting a broader exchange of ideas around Brazil’s energy development,” said Roberto Ardenghy, president of IBP.
The initiative also positions the IBP as a bridge for dialogue between industry, public authorities and society, with the role of leading the interactions necessary to ensure sustainable, fair, safe and inclusive energy evolution.
The ‘Energy of Evolution’ campaign will be driven by a strategy that involves influencers linked to the themes of ‘science’ and ‘curiosities’ who, through content that reveals how oil and gas are present in everyday life, will raise awareness about the omnipresence of these resources in today’s lifestyle and their importance for innovation and the future of the industry.
In addition, 1-minute short programs will be broadcast on TV, hosted by a specialized journalist, to provide information on the topic.
“The campaign seeks to connect different generations around the theme of energy evolution. And speaking of evolution, we seek to show the evolution of people, companies and society, highlighting the transformative role of the oil and gas sector in Brazil’s energy future. The strategy focuses on the general population, inviting reflection and debate, but places special attention on the young audience. To achieve this, we use accessible and interactive language”, explained Marcella Reis, Account Director at InPress Porter Novelli.
