Players will be able to buy clothes, accessories and customize their characters with the soap opera’s theme
Afterverse’s children’s game PK XD has partnered with SBT to launch the next season of the soap opera “Caverna Encantada,” which will officially premiere on September 26. The collaboration aims to bring back the magic of television stories with immersive digital adventures. Fans of the soap opera and the game will be able to buy clothes, accessories, customize characters, and do other things related to the soap opera’s theme.
“The power of this partnership is to unite channels, bringing in a younger, digital audience to generate interest in a medium that is rarely used by them, which is TV. The union of offline and digital unlocks new audiences and opens up opportunities,” says Charles Barros, CEO and founder of Afterverse.
The game has partnered with brands such as LOL Surprise, Hello Kitty, Miraculous Ladybug, The Smurfs and Care Bears in recent years. During the collaboration with the “Miraculous Ladybug Adventures” series, players spent over 350 million minutes playing exclusive mini-games, and the partnership with Hello Kitty generated over 150 million visits in two weeks to the virtual experience in PK XD.
