Globo’s new seven o’clock soap opera premieres next Monday (30)
TV Globo’s next 7pm soap opera, ‘Volta por Cima’ premieres next Monday (30), sponsored by BRF, in addition to content actions for brands such as Coca-Cola and Shoppee, in addition to BRF itself, the same sponsors of ‘Família é Tudo’, a soap opera that ends this Friday (26).
The plot, created and written by Claudia Souto, with artistic direction by André Câmara, promises to be relatable to Brazilians as it takes place in the world of a bus company, most of whose employees live and are located in a fictional neighborhood in the suburbs of Rio de Janeiro.
As a starting point for the story, the trajectories of the protagonists Madá (Jéssica Ellen) and Jão (Fabrício Boliveira). She is the daughter of Lindomar (MV Bill), a driver at Viação Formosa, who has a sudden illness at the wheel on his last day before retirement.
And he, Lindomar’s colleague, is on the bus on the day of the accident and prevents a worse tragedy, although Lindomar does not survive. With his departure, Madá becomes head of the house.
The new soap opera on Globo’s 7pm slot talks about courage and resilience. The characters represent people who seek a better life for themselves and their families every day, and who have to ‘get by’ in the face of the challenges that fate often imposes.
