The Memorial da América Latina, in Barra Funda, in São Paulo, will host, on the 12th and 13th of October, the 12th edition of the Creation Club Festival. With an unmissable program, the event will have panel discussions, lectures, brand activations, as well as shows and portfolio reviews.
Last year, the Festival brought together more than 210 guests at the Memorial, including debaters and speakers. Around 6 thousand people visited the site over the two days of the event.
Curated by journalist Laís Prado, Festival do Clube will once again welcome to its panels renowned professionals from the advertising market and big names linked to the most different areas of the creative economy, such as innovation, fashion, design, artificial intelligence, music, cinema, television , scripts, crafts, etc., in addition to promoting conversations about the climate emergency, stereotypes of female bodies, how to protect children from screens, ageism and the transformation of Salvador into the cultural capital of Brazil.

Among the confirmed names are the stylist Sioduhi, the actor Jonathan Azevedo, the physicist Marcelo Gleiser, the presenter Eliana, the screenwriter Lucas Paraizo, the actor Samuel de Assis, the actress Danielle Winits, the musician Lucas Lima, the singer and actress CLEO, the influencer Gabi de Pretas, director José Padilha, futurist Neil Redding, actress and comedian Grace Gianoukas, screenwriter Caito Mainier, activist Júnior Yanomami, Heineken executive Cecília Preto Alexandre, animation director Daniel Bruson, rapper Duquesa , innovation specialist Fábio Gandour, multi-artist Ayô Tupinambá, comedian Rafaela Azevedo (King Kong Fran), journalist Chris Flores, influencer Beta Boechat, illustrator Daniel Kondo, actress Claudia di Moura and much more.
Big names in advertising will also be there: Marcello Serpa, Anselmo Ramos from GUT, Luciana Cani from AKQA, Danilo Boer from FCB, and Jouke Vuurmans from Monks, among many others.
All these big names will shape the program schedule for this year’s edition, which involves around 200 guests and 50 attractions, including panels and lectures.
Screenwriter Lucas Paraizo (“Os Others” / “Sob Pressão” / “O Rebu” / “Justiça 1”, from Globo, among other works) will talk about his career and creative process during an interview conducted by Alan de Sá (writer / creative copywriter at Ogilvy), Andrea Siqueira (executive creative director at BBDO Chicago) and Romero Cavalcanti (creative director at EnergyBBDO).
Musician and influencer Lucas Lima will participate in a panel that will comprehensively address the current moment in the creator economy. Alongside him will be Egnalda Côrtes (founder and CEO of Côrtes), Issaaf Karhawi (researcher in digital communication / PhD in Communication Sciences from USP / author of the book “From Blogger to Influencer”), Leonardo Goldberg (psychoanalyst / PhD in psychology from USP / author of the book “The Subject in the Digital Era: Essay on Psychoanalysis, Pandemic and History”) and Rafael Ventura (CEO of Nine Comunicação). The mediation will be by Carolina Fernandes (CEO of Cubo Comunicação / host of the podcast “A Tecla SAP do Marketês”).
Actor and singer Jonathan Azevedo and multi-artist Ayô Tupinambá will participate in a chat led by Heitor Caetano (creative director at DPZ). They will talk not only about their personal trajectories, but also about their creative processes.
Physicist and astronomer Marcelo Gleiser, who is also the founder of The Island of Knowledge and a researcher and professor at Dartmouth College (USA), will give a talk entitled “Science, appreciation of planet Earth and the understanding that life is something extremely rare” .
“Orchestrating reality: AI, spatial computing and the near future of creativity” é o tema da palestra de Neil Redding (near futurist / CEO da Redding Futures).
Dom Filó (creator of Cultne / cultural producer / journalist / documentary filmmaker), Felipe Sá (leader of Globo’s ethnic-racial group), Luiz Henrique Costa (creative director of Influence Negra), Mari Santos (creative lead of Jubarte) and Spartakus Santiago (presenter/art director/content creator) will make up the table “The creative economy from the lens of black people”, which will be mediated by Robson Rodriguez (executive director of Influence Negra).
Artist and illustrator Daniel Kondo will be interviewed by André Kassu (partner at CP+B) and Joanna Monteiro (co-CCO at Africa Creative).
“Climate emergency: extraordinary doses of water, fire, cold, heat. What can still be done to rebalance the planet?” is the title of the debate that will bring together Amanda Costa (director of Perifa Sustentável / advisor to the UN Global Compact – Rede Brasil), Isabela Massola Mendes (global brand director at Natura), Juliano Salgado (president of Instituto Terra) and Júnior Yanomami (leader / president of the Urihi Yanomami Association / president of the Yanomami Indigenous Health District Council). The mediation will be led by Tomás Correa (founder and CCO of Felicidade Collective). This panel will have a special participation by Marcelo Gleiser.
“Behind the scenes of an Oscar-nominated short” is the theme of the presentation by Daniel Bruson (animation director/screenwriter/graphic artist).
“Stereotypes of female bodies: why do we still have to talk (a lot) about it?” is the title of the chat that will bring together Beta Boechat (creator/founder of Movimento Corpo Livre), Cynthia Paixão (founder of AfroDonas), Danielle Winits (actress), Marianna Ferraz (marketing manager at Dove) and Silvana Nascimento (teacher of Urban Anthropology at USP / coordinator of Coletivo Cóccix / researcher at Núcleo Diversitas). The mediation will be carried out by Chris Flores (journalist / historian).
The panel “The repositioning of Salvador as the cultural (and tech) capital of Brazil” will bring together Maurício Mota (partner at Ashé Ventures), Paulo Rogério Nunes (co-founder of Vale do Dendê), Potyra Lavor (founder and CEO of IDW Entretenimento e Conteúdo ) and Samuel de Assis (actor).
