McDonald’s held an action at the Méqui 1000 restaurant, on Avenida Paulista, last Sunday (29) with the winners of the “Méqui Felizes para Semper” promotion, which invited consumers to share their romantic stories that had McDonald’s as a special ingredient. As a prize, couples had the chance to celebrate their relationships with everything paid for by the brand.
For the action, the store’s facade was given a special decoration, with flowers, a red carpet and an exclusive space for photos of the “newlyweds”. The moment was led by a celebrant, with the right to the symbolic exchange of rings and formal attire. Before the ceremony, couple Camila Queiroz and Klebber Toledo announced the winners of the contest on social media.
The initiative is part of the campaign “That’s why I call Méqui Méqui”, created by the Galeria.ag agency, which celebrates the connections between the brand and customers. “Our customers are passionate about the brand and have so many beautiful stories involving Méqui that we felt the need to repay this affection with this great celebration”, says Sérgio Eleutério, marketing director at McDonald’s.
The action also included the participation of content creators, such as @vaicomguio, who recorded the ceremonies and wedding details on Méqui 1000, and pages such as Gossip do Dia and Segue a Cami.
