#MulherQueRepresenta initiative wants to give visibility to the achievements of all women
Avon launched the #MulherQueRepresenta action during the BBB, to recognize and give visibility to the achievements of all women celebrated in the stories of its Beauty Representatives. Through the initiative, the company reinforced its purpose of supporting female entrepreneurship and empowerment.
At BBB, the action invited people to look again at the importance of this activity and highlighted that, by purchasing products through Beauty Representatives, consumers are contributing to the financial independence of thousands of women throughout Brazil.
Photos of Representatives from all over Brazil were shown on the big screen during the BBB and brothers and sisters were encouraged to honor a “woman who represents”.
“With the #MulherQueRepresenta dynamic, we embrace representation as an intrinsic value of Avon beauty and also reinforce how fundamental it is to make visible the importance of women in each one’s trajectory”, explains Viviane Pepe, Avon Brasil’s communications director.

The celebration of International Women’s Day went beyond the BBB’s action, and brought the virtual assistant Ângela, responsible for helping the institution to support Brazilian women by offering psychological and legal assistance services.
From advertising activations on the digital channels of Avon and Instituto Avon, Ângela will virtually use items from the Bonita collection launched in February in partnership with Juliette Freire, brand ambassador. Part of the profits from the sales of these products will be donated to causes supported by the institution.
The video-hero of the International Women’s Day campaign was launched yesterday (08) with the special participation of Ângela. The video is part of the campaign developed by Wunderman Thompson for Avon and Instituto Avon and features the voice-over of Luiza Brunet, actress, model and ambassador for Instituto Avon.
