The eSports Brazil 2024 Awards (PeB), the biggest celebration of the segment in Latin America, is approaching its eighth edition and has revealed the nominees for the popular and semi-popular categories, chosen by the public and the Superjury, who will compete in 22 of the total of 24 award categories. The names were announced in a traditional live broadcast held yesterday (3), and was led by presenters Nyvi Estephan, Camilota XP and Mariana Ayrez. The event was broadcast on PeB’s official channels on YouTube, Twitch, Tik Tok and Instagram.
The live broadcast that revealed the 22 nominees for 2024 was held in an unprecedented sitcom format: in a relaxed way, the presenters interacted with each other, simulating everyday situations while the names emerged in unusual ways. The trio of presenters also spoke with important names from the Superjury, such as Carol Bombshell, Jairo Foxer, AF Gameplays, Fogueta, Maria Bonino and Bárbara Gutierrez, who commented on the nominations in each of the 22 categories.
“The revelation of the nominees is one of the most awaited moments for the public who engage and actively participate in the choices. For this year, we are betting on a different format, super relaxed, which is the style of the three presenters, and which also serves as a warm-up for what we will see on the night of the big awards, on December 12th”, highlights Leandro Valentim, CEO of Player1 GamingGroup.
The selected names were chosen through the first stage of voting, which took place from September 11th to 22nd, for the semi-popular categories, which are defined by the Superjury, in addition to the two categories with 100% popular voting (Craque Betano da Galera and Best Streamer). . The PeB curator validated the list of eight selected names that will go on to the new vote, in which both the public and the Super Jury will define the edition’s long-awaited finalists.
The new voting stage is now open and esports fans can now choose their favorites directly on the official PeB website.

The eSports Brasil Award takes place on December 12th, starting at 9pm, directly from the Memorial da América Latina, in São Paulo. In 2024, the celebration celebrates its 8th anniversary having already awarded more than 120 trophies to athletes, influencers and companies from the most diverse types of electronic sports in its first seven editions.
