Hundreds of people jumped out of bed before the sun came up last Saturday to secure a place in the line of candidates for the Professional Fan position created by Budweiser.
The public is part of the 14,000 people who signed up for an invitation launched by the brand: compete for the opportunity to enjoy and cover, with everything paid, the shows of icons Bruno Mars, Lenny Kravitz and Paul McCartney, all sponsored by Bud until the end this year. Two Professional Fans will be chosen, who will receive a payment of R$20,000, in addition to accommodation, transport, food and tickets.
After registering on the promotion website, the public began to occupy the surroundings of the Transamérica Expo Center, in São Paulo, from the early hours of the morning, just as fans do to stick to the grid. The line stretched around the inside of the Expo Center and brought together people who, while waiting their turn, listened to music and told stories of the crazy things done by their idols, all to pass the time and hold back the anxiety surrounding the dream of becoming a representative of millions of other fans who breathe music.
Selection is being carried out on a first-come, first-served basis and, as participants manage to enter, they are welcomed by a team of HR professionals. The selection process will continue throughout the day, with the result expected to be announced on 10/08. The two people selected will debut as Professional Fans during Paul McCartney’s concert, on 10/19. The next commitments are the presentations of Bruno Mars, on 10/27, and Lenny Kravitz, on 11/23.
