Print with image from the propmark website is fake news; bank and agency directly involved say the process has not been completed
A fake is circulating in WhatsApp groups, with market professionals, involving the name of the propmark. It is a montage simulating an article on the portal, which has the title: ‘Competition: Bradesco maintains villageh and increases operations’.
The title refers to the competition process, still ongoing, that will choose Bradesco’s advertising agency.
In July this year, the propmark gave first hand that Bradesco had started a competition, which was being coordinated by Scopen. The following month, the financial institution reported that the evaluation process was still ongoing with seven agencies: Artplan, Aldeiah, AlmapBBDO, Leo Burnett, VML, Accenture Song and Asia.
O propmark contacted the villageh, which said only that it was still waiting for the decision. Bradesco, in turn, also said that the selection process is ongoing.
